Structural engineering firm Cary Kopczynski & Co. hired Victor Hernandez as a marketing assistant, Ben Akada as BIM manager, Sam Adkins as IT manager and Kristina Low as a design engineer in its Bellevue headquarters. Hernandez has experience with digital marketing and branding. He will assist the senior marketing coordinator in preparing responses to complex project pursuits while managing the company's mainstream marketing initiatives. Akada has 25 years of structural drafting and BIM modeling experience and has been leading large BIM teams for the past 10 years. He is involved in 3545 Wilshire, a 30-story tower in Los Angeles; and 1900 Broadway, a 41-story residential tower in Oakland. Low has four years of experience providing design and analysis of major building structures, construction administration and project coordination. Her experience includes high-rise residential and office developments. In Seattle, she is involved in Seattle House, a twin 45-story tower development, and 1000 Virginia, a 480-foot residential tower. Adkins has 15 years of experience in information technology roles. He will manage all aspects of IT throughout the company. His responsibilities will include upgrading CKC to state-of-the-art advanced communication systems and next generation technology.
