Seattle-based Coughlin Porter Lundeen promoted Aaron Fjelstad and Jackie Sempel to civil associate, Christen Sanders and Marie Ternes to structural project manager, Walt Busch, Eric Dixon and Ben Frizzell to structural associate and Mike Armstrong to senior structural project manager. Fjelstad specializes in challenging urban sites. Sempel establishes a collaborative environment with contractors, jurisdictions, mentees and others she works with. Sanders' experience is in the preK-12 sector, focusing on the uniqueness of the designs, diversity of building materials and distinctive programming needs. Ternes works to bring coordination and organization to even the most complicated projects. Her work has included West Main and the State Hotel. Busch has technical skills and specializes in applications of concrete and steel. He's also is part of the region's mass timber movement. Dixon has extensive experience with concrete and steel construction as well as mass timber across a variety of building types. Frizzell's work has included the Enumclaw High School modernization, Sitka and Palihotel Seattle. He specializes in residential, preK-12 and renovation projects. Specializing in excavation and shoring, Armstrong oversees the firm's most complex shoring projects. He also focuses on fire stations and the preK-12 market.
