Mount Vernon to get new library complex

HKP Architects will design the Mount Vernon Library Commons, which will be at Kincaid and Third streets.

The city of Mount Vernon plans to start construction in mid-2022 on the $45 million highly sustainable Mount Vernon Library Commons that will be a gateway to the historic downtown commercial district, HKP Architects said.
