In Seattle, PCS Structural Solutions hired Joe Jesse as a design engineer. In Tacoma, the firm hired Leah Cate as a project manager and Huiyao Huang and Kellie Filips as project engineers. In Portland, it hired Annabel Shephard as a design engineer. Jesse holds a master's in civil engineering from the University of Washington and is working on houses in San Juan County and Medina. Cate holds bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from the UW and is working on the PeaceHealth Emergency Department expansion in Vancouver and Northwest Kidney Centers clinics in Panther Lake and Port Angeles. Huang has a master's in civil engineering from UCLA and previous experience with a Los Angeles-based firm. Huang is working on a four-story apartment complex and a four-story mix-used building in downtown Olympia. Filips holds a master's in structural engineering from Seattle University and is working on the Oakville Elementary School replacement and houses in Washington. Shephard holds a master's in civil engineering and wood science from Oregon State University. She is working on Providence St. Peter Hospital cooling tower replacement in Olympia and Sultan Transportation Facility in Sultan. PCS is a structural engineering firm.
