Study says I-5 lid would cost at least $966 million

The study area covered about 15 acres.

It is technically feasible to construct a lid over Interstate-5 through downtown Seattle, similar to the existing lids of the Washington State Convention Center and Freeway Park, according to the results of a study managed by the city of Seattle.
