DJC welcomes new A/E editor

The Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce is pleased to welcome Emma Hinchliffe as the new editor of architecture and engineering.

Emma recently graduated from the University of Washington with a PhD in history. Emma has several years of experience working as a journalist for the Department of History and the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies at the University of Washington. Emma is excited to join the team and is looking forward to crafting stories that highlight the history of some of the Pacific Northwest's most iconic buildings and engineering projects, in addition to reporting on today's happenings in the world of architecture and engineering.

Emma takes over from former architecture and engineering editor Lynn Porter, who is retiring July 30 after 15 years at the Daily Journal of Commerce.
