Kirkland-based Blueline hired MaKenzie Fockler as an engineer, Melanie Williams as an engineering drafter, Dan Saarenas as an engineering designer, David (Dave) Bramer as a project landscape architect, Rudy Jimenez Jr. as an engineering designer and Jerome Walker as a construction inspector. Fockler will work on residential projects. She has a bachelor's in civil engineering from the University of Washington and engineering experience at RH2 Engineering and Hatton Godat Pantier. Williams has a bachelor's in civil engineering from the Cebu Institute of Technology-University in the Philippines and experience doing survey work in the field and office. Most recently, she worked for PACE in its Oregon office doing survey drafting. Saarenas has over 10 years of civil design experience. He will work on residential projects. Bramer has over 10 years of experience in the landscape architecture field. He will work on multifamily, mixed used and other commercial projects. Jimenez will work on public works projects. He has experience as a civil CAD designer on water and wastewater projects with Brown & Caldwell in Seattle and other engineering firms in Houston. Walker has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Georgia Southern University and studied in South Korea. Fockler, Williams and Bramer will work in the Kirkland office. Walker will be based in Mill Creek and Saarenas in Tukwila. Jimenez is working remotely from Houston and will relocate to Kirkland. Blueline provides civil engineering, land use planning and landscape architecture services.
