The new plans would see four properties rise at the West Seattle Junction.

Community Roots Housing, in partnership with the West Seattle Junction Association (WSJA), is proposing plans for the redevelopment of four parking lots in West Seattle. The lots in question - at 42nd SW/Oregon, 44th/Oregon and 44th/Alaska - are currently owned by the West Seattle Trusteed Properties and managed by WSJA. Community Roots Housing have already submitted an offer to purchase the parking lots at the appraised value of the land and The City of Seattle Office of Housing has agreed to provide an acquisition loan for this purpose. A vote on the sale is expected to take place on October 28 at a West Seattle Trusteed Properties members meeting.
