Construction to begin on final phase of trail decades in the making

East Lake Sammamish Trail will link to Marymoor Connector Trail to the north and Issaquah-Preston Trail to the south.

The East Lake Sammamish Trail (ELST) is an 11-mile recreational trail that links Issaquah to Redmond along the site of a historic railroad route. The corridor was purchased by King County in 1998.
