B.C. mass timber office building uses buckling-restrained braces

Terminus combines post-and-beam mass timber with buckling- restrained steel braces.

A retail and commercial office building recently completed at 2840 Peatt Road in Langford, B.C., reportedly is the first mass timber post-and-beam building to have buckling-restrained braces housed within a timber frame.
