Work begins on park in Japan designed by Seattle's GGN

The park is being built in front of JR Osaka Station, the largest terminal station in western Japan.

Seattle-based landscape architecture firm GGN's latest project has broken ground some 5,000 miles away from the Emerald City. Construction recently began on the 11-acre Umekita Park project in Osaka, Japan. The park is part of a larger 42-acre mixed-used development called Umekita 2nd.
