Kirkland's expanded Feriton Spur Park now open

The park features sculptures that repurpose elements of the historic Kalakala ferry.

On Wednesday, under the bright sun, project leaders, local officials and hundreds of community members came to gather and celebrate the completion of a 2.8-acre addition to Feriton Spur Park.
