WJE Seattle welcomed several new staff members. After a tenure as WJE Boston's unit manager, architect Anita Simon is returning to WJE Seattle, and engineer Becky Skondre, nee Gilbertson, is returning to Washington from the firm's DC branch. New hires include geotechnical engineer Mike Coryell and Joseph Gilroy. Coryell previously held positions with McMillen Jacobs Associates, CDM Smith, and the United States Air Force. Gilroy is completing his PhD at University of Texas-Austin and held positions with Peloton Land Solutions and Sanger Learning Center, both of Austin. Finally, Daniel O'Brien, a civil engineering student at Seattle University, has joined as a 2022 intern.

WJE also announced that Zachary Stutts earned his structural engineering license in Washington and was recently promoted to senior associate, and that Sean O'Shea and Andrew Stanton were promoted to associate III.
