King County Parks' new HQ aims for net-positive energy production

The new headquarters for King County Parks Administration and Operations groups is expected to achieve Energy Petal certification with the International Living Future Institute — a first for a new major public works project at the county. The project, called the Central Maintenance Facility or Renton Shop, is redeveloping a 5.7-acre site at 3005 N.E. Fourth St. in Renton where Parks has operated for decades.
