Berger Partnership will lead the design for City Hall Park

Less than a year ago, the city of Seattle announced its intent to turn ownership of City Hall Park over to King County in a land swap deal that would have given the city about 1.4 acres of green space in 13 distinct parcels. Following an announcement by Mayor Bruce Harrell on Friday, that deal is now officially off. The park will remain the city's and it will move forward with plans to activate and rehabilitate the space.
