Confluence Environmental Company has hired two staff members: Jenny Love as project biologist III and Sara Potter as project ecologist III.
Love has 17 years of experience in environmental assessment, habitat restoration project planning and design, and stormwater permitting and compliance. She conducts ecological restoration projects in wetland, stream, and upland forested habitat areas from the planning phase through design, permitting, construction, and monitoring. Love evaluates project permitting requirements and prepares documentation to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. She also develops vegetation assessment and management plans, conducts wildlife surveys, and collects data to monitor habitat restoration projects.
Potter has eight years of experience providing permitting support for natural resources and land use projects, specializing in marine water quality and shoreline mitigation/restoration. Potter performs wetland studies, threatened and endangered species surveys, stream and nearshore surveys, marine mammal monitoring, and similar assessments. She has expertise in local, state, and federal environmental policies and regulations and she routinely conducts regulatory research and data synthesis and prepares documentation to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
