The project is slated to break ground in summer 2023 and take 14 months to complete.

LIHI and project partner the Asia Pacific Cultural Center announced that its 78-unit senior housing project, to be built at 711 S. 38th Street in Tacoma's Lincoln District, is fully funded. The announcement follows notice of an award of $4.9 million for construction from the State Dept. of Commerce. The City of Tacoma previously awarded $5.25 million and Pierce County added $7 million for the 56,344-square-foot, six-story project. The Washington Housing Finance Commission will provide an allocation of housing tax credits.
