Compromise reached in debate over future of landmarked Uptown bank building

The building dates back to 1950 and was designated a city landmark in 2006.

As first reported in December, Historic Seattle and other preservationists had been concerned for the future of the landmarked Seattle-First National Bank Building, which is currently home to a Walgreens pharmacy, at 566 Denny Way in Uptown.
