Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc, has promoted nine employees and hired one new employee since the start of November 2022.

Mackenzie Allan has joined Barghausen as an assistant planner in the Kent office. Allan earned her undergraduate and Master's in geography, along with her GIS certification from George Washington University. She previously worked as a senior research associate for the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy, where she focused on urban transportation planning and policy research. She was also a planning associate for Adobu; an ADU company where she focused on permitting and ADU policy research.

Julissa Riberal has been promoted to project engineer. Riberal joined the Roseville, CA team in September of 2020. She delivers accurate, comprehensive, and aesthetically minded plans to clients.

Matt Colling has been promoted to project engineer. Colling started with Barghausen in October of 2017 at the Chehalis office. Colling works on various projects, including residential and commercial developments for key clients across the Puget Sound. He has become the storm drainage go-to for many challenging sites.

Rigo Ortiz has been promoted to people and culture administrator. Ortiz joined Barghausen in March of 2022. Ortiz is the first person that new hires get to spend time with at Barghausen. He also gets to represent the firm at career fairs.

Charm Salvino has been promoted to project engineer. Salvino began working with Barghausen in July of 2018; she initially completed commercial and residential projects. Since then, she has taken on a diverse project base that include complicated grading designs and BMP design on constrained sites. Salvino works a lot with industrial clients, navigating complex standards and structures.

Mitch Anderson has been promoted to senior architectural CAD technician. Anderson started with Barghausen in February of 2022 at the Kent office. Anderson helps solve problems and has exceptional drafting skills.

Brian Dow has been promoted to project engineer. Dow started with Barghausen in January of 2014 at the Long Beach, CA office. He plays more of a leadership role with coordinating design changes and layout updates. His quality control and organization skills along with his growing knowledge of design layouts have helped the department produce more consistent and accurate drawings.

Ric Francais has been promoted to senior project engineer. Francais has been the firm's lead electrical design engineer for the past 11 years, and works out of the Long Beach office. He has grown and adapted to emerging electrical technology in the industry related to various code updates and new vehicle fueling systems. He works on all electrical-related designs related to power, monitoring and lighting and has a deep knowledge of codes, both old and current.

Bryan Newberry has been promoted to survey construction project manager. Newberry joined Barghausenin 2016 and is an integral member of the survey department, taking a lead role with construction calculation needs.

Israel Siria Cornejo has been promoted to project engineer. Siria Cornejo has been a key member of the Long Beach team since 2017. He single-handedly took over the design and coordination for an out-of-country client, which included attending numerous international trips for various construction meetings. He has also played a key part in improving master drawings by introducing time-saving techniques for equipment take-offs and buoyancy calculations. He has also played a significant role in our field surveying by traveling all over the country to perform equipment recons.
