Stantec announced the following principal and associate promotions. Jeff Lynch, Ben Omura and Bryan Yoshida have been promoted to principal. Tae Kim and Mark Peabody have been promoted to senior associate and Nowell Ancheta, Josh Clark, Josh Hamon and Norm Lanum to associate.
A mechanical engineer in Stantec's Seattle office, Lynch, PE, LEED AP, leads projects in plumbing and HVAC for a wide variety of building types including transit, office, laboratory, mixed-use, educational, high rise, and healthcare.
Omura has designed and implemented mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection solutions for over 15 years. Omura, PE, LEED BD+C, has worked across a broad range of project types including commercial, civic, residential, hospitality, and transit projects.
Yoshida, PE, LEED AP, is an experienced electrical engineer and project manager. His work encompasses a variety of project types, with a focus on complex healthcare and commercial/workplace projects. Yoshida actively seeks opportunities to improve operational efficiency, minimize energy usage and employ environmentally clean sources in his designs.
Kim, PE, LEED AP, a mechanical engineer, focuses primarily on healthcare projects, spanning a wide spectrum of scales. His experience also includes coordinating with facility engineers for occupant comfort, conducting special investigations, tests, and other studies to improve efficiency and reliability of equipment and systems.
Peabody, PE, electrical engineer, has experience in a variety of typologies including healthcare, workplace, and mixed-use spaces. He is known for his straightforward approach to project design and his accuracy and reliability in project documentation and delivery.
Ancheta, PE, is an electrical engineer in Stantec's Lynnwood office. He works on healthcare projects ranging in size, type, and location. He has been a mentor for ACE and is an active participant in Stantec's Young Leaders Group.
Clark is Stantec's US West Building Engineering BIM lead. He provides project teams with leadership and a strong technical foundation that enables them to start and maintain high-quality BIM projects for their clients. His technical knowledge across a multitude of software platforms grants him a variety of capabilities for collaboration including automation, generative design, and AR/VR.
Hamon, CTS, CCNA, is Stantec's Audio Visual Team lead. Hamon's skills range from systems and infrastructure design to developing future ready enterprise AV standards. He has designed complete audiovisual and control systems that have improved the user experience and productivity.
Lanum, RCDD, is a technology designer with over 20 years of experience in low voltage design, voice and data networks, communication systems and security. His wide range of projects includes commercial, educational, civic, and healthcare clients.
