Multi-disciplinary design team awarded for sustainable reimagining of International Terrace

The proposal calls for significant building envelope upgrades and new windows.

On Wednesday, the Seattle 2030 District announced the winner of its 2022 Energy Design Competition which challenged local design teams to identify pathways to achieve net zero energy and net zero carbon emissions at International Terrace, a low-income public housing building located at 202 Sixth Ave. S. in the heart of Seattle's Japantown.
