Renovation planned for landmarked hotel

The hotel today. Marblecrete and concrete canopies, which were added in the 1960s, are set to be demolished.

Hotel Seattle (formerly the Continental Hotel) has sat at 315 Seneca St. for 97 years. Since it opened in 1926, the building had continued to welcome guests until early 2020 when it closed at the onset of the pandemic.
