McKinstry donates $520,000 to combat climate change

On April 28, Seattle-headquartered construction and energy services firm McKinstry and the McKinstry Charitable Foundation announced the awarding of $520,000 to eight new climate-focused nonprofit organizations. The organizations, six of which are based in Washington, are geared towards reducing carbon in the built environment and promoting clean energy and climate justice.
