SRG Partnership hosts symposium on state's mental health system

The symposium took place June 14 and focused on ways to bridge current gaps and address existing problems in the state’s mental health system.

Much has been written on the evolution of behavioral health facility design and the growing focus on facilities that are intentionally non-institutional, that work to remove the stigma associated with mental illness, and that focus on a patient's holistic health. SRG Partnership, whose local projects include the new University of Washington Behavioral Health Teaching Facility, currently under construction at the UW Medical Center Northwest Campus, has been at the forefront of this evolution.
