El Centro breaks ground on 87 affordable Columbia City units

This rendering shows the property looking northwest from the intersection of 39th and South Angeline Street.

Construction is underway on a new mixed-use, affordable housing development at 3818 S. Angeline St. in Columbia City. A groundbreaking celebration was held for the project, which is slated to open in November 2024, on June 14. Walsh Construction is the general contractor.
