State gives $190M to support recreation and wildlife projects

Seattle Parks and Recreation is planning to replace the Carkeek Park overpass with a cable-stayed style bridge.

On July 18, the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office announced nearly $190 million in grant funding, for more than 250 projects across Washington that will improve outdoor recreation and conserve wildlife habitats.
