Design-Build Institute of America honors four local projects

This 98,000-square-foot health sciences education building at the UW Seattle campus at 1607 N.E. Pacific St. was awarded in the Educational Facilities category.

On Tuesday, the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) announced 29 Merit Award winners for the institute's 2023 National Design-Build Project/Team Awards program. Sixty-two projects from across the U.S. were submitted for consideration for this year's competition, across ten categories ranging from aviation to water/wastewater projects.
