Memorial Stadium nominated for landmarking

The 76-year-old stadium structure has two reinforced concrete grandstands framing an open playing field, and a fieldhouse structure with locker rooms, offices, storage, and service spaces.

At its meeting on Aug. 16, the Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board voted to nominate Memorial Stadium at the Seattle Center for landmarking.
