UW team wins prestigious student design award

The team won for Watershed, a hypothetical research institution situated along Ballard’s historically industrial waterfront.

A team from the University of Washington is among this year's winners of the 2023 AIA COTE Top Ten for Students Competition. These national honors are awarded annually by the American Institute of Architects Committee on the Environment (AIA COTE), in partnership with the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, to projects across the U.S. that combine high-quality design and strong sustainable building performance.
