Meet Milgard Hall: UW Tacoma's first mass timber building

Milgard Hall’s brick façade is designed to blend in with surrounding industrial buildings.

In Seattle, mass timber projects are being developed and completed with increased frequency, from market-rate and low-income housing to life science and academic buildings. In the latter market, the University of Washington has been somewhat of a trendsetter.
