‘Lid I-5' resolution gets city approval

SEATTLE — On Tuesday, the full Seattle City Council approved a resolution confirming its support for the development of a series of lids connecting neighborhoods across I-5.

The proposed project would cover portions of the freeway in downtown Seattle between Thomas and Madison streets. The lids could be used for parks, affordable housing, and/or new civic projects.
