Skills center/office building opens at Washington State School for the Blind

    A Life Skills Training Center is located on the lower level of the building. New office space for the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind occupies the upper level.

    A new facility for the Washington State School for the Blind (WSSB) opened in September at its Vancouver campus. The 13,907-square-foot building houses two separate elements: A Life Skills Training Center for the school's Learning Independence for Today and Tomorrow (LIFTT) residential program; and a new office space for the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind (DSB).
