Mount Vernon project secures $12.5M for EV chargers

The grant will support the installation of EV chargers in the under-construction building’s parking structure, shown here.

The Mount Vernon Library Commons project has been awarded a $12.5 million Bipartisan Infrastructure Law grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation. The funding will be used to support the installation of EV charging ports, and associated infrastructure, in the forthcoming building's parking component.
