NWSA gets $24.5M in federal funds for new bridge near Port of Tacoma

A similar project, which also replaced a failing culvert with a new bridge, was completed upstream of the Wapato Creek culvert in 2022.

The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA) has received a $24.5 million federal grant to replace a failing culvert at Wapato Creek with a new bridge.
