Construction to start this summer on Rick Steves-backed community center in Lynnwood

The Lynnwood Neighborhood Center will be 40,000 square feet.

The city of Lynnwood is poised to get a new neighborhood center with the capacity to serve over 20,000 community members annually with a variety of human services resources and amenity spaces. A ceremonial groundbreaking event was held for the project last week, with construction expected to start this summer.
