Life science building shortlisted for structural engineering honor

222 Fifth Avenue is rising on the corner of Thomas Street and should open this summer.

The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) has shortlisted Seattle's 222 Fifth Avenue development for a 2024 Excellence in Structural Engineering Award. The project is a speculative commercial office/life science building, totaling approximately 232,000 square feet.
