State seeks input on middle housing

OLYMPIA — The state Department of Commerce is seeking feedback on draft updates to its middle housing model ordinances and middle housing model ordinance user guide.

The two ordinances — one for cities over 25,000 residents and one for cities under 25,000 residents — and the user guide aim to provide technical assistance and guidance to cities adopting ordinances, regulations and controls for housing like duplexes, triplexes, fourplexes and ADUs.
