Brutalist Haggett Hall to be replaced with all-electric biophilic student dorm

The new Haggett Hall will be 230,000 square feet and will have two connected housing wings framing a central courtyard.

The University of Washington since 2014 has been exploring the demolition and replacement of Haggett Hall — a brutalist-style student housing building built at UW's University District campus in the early 1960s.
