Washington Trust for Historic Preservation receives federal grant

The Coupeville Wharf on Whidbey Island was added to the trust’s Most Endangered Places list in May due to the threat of rising sea levels.

The nonprofit Washington Trust for Historic Preservation has been awarded a $750,000 grant from the National Park Service to support preservation projects in communities threatened by sea level rise and king tides.
