Tribes get $8M to boost water infrastructure

The Kalispel Tribe of Indians has received $2.3 million for a domestic drinking water project on the Kalispel Reservation, located near Colville.

Five tribes in the state will receive grants totaling approximately $7.7 million for projects that will address inadequate water infrastructure and improve the safety and supply of drinking water for their members.
