EIS issued for AquaSox stadium project

EVERETT — The DJC reported in September on a proposal from the city of Everett, Snohomish County and the owners of the Everett AquaSox minor league baseball team to develop a new or updated outdoor multipurpose facility that would serve as the new home field for the team and a venue for non-baseball events and programs.

The AquaSox currently play at Funko Field at 3900 Broadway. The stadium is located south of downtown Everett and directly west and adjacent to the Broadway and Interstate 5 corridors.
