Affordable housing and social services headline Seattle council's $8B budget

The budget includes $4 million to support the construction of YouthCare’s Constellation Center on Capitol Hill.

The $8.3 billion budget passed by the Seattle City Council on Thursday outlines a comprehensive range of investments focused on four priority spending areas identified by Mayor Bruce Harrell: public safety, housing and homelessness, health, and thriving communities.
