HKP Architects promoted Christine Baldwin to associate. Baldwin joined HKP in 2014 after receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo. She became licensed in the state of Washington in 2019.
During her 10 years with HKP, Baldwin has managed complex projects and contributed to the firm’s goals and development. She is currently the project architect for the Mount Vernon Library Commons, which is the first publicly bid passive house project and is the largest public EV charging installation in the country.
In her new role as associate, Baldwin will develop new business opportunities and help guide the firm in a leadership role. She joins partners Julie Blazek and Brian Poppe as owners in the firm.
Baldwin is active in AIA Northwest Washington, a section of AIA Seattle, where she serves as the current committee chair.
