Input sought on comp plan process

OLYMPIA — Ahead of a statewide analysis of the impacts of comprehensive planning, the state Department of Commerce is seeking input from cities, counties and interested parties on their experiences with the comprehensive planning process.

The department said the input will help develop metrics for future tracking and inform the effects of implementation, including key outcomes such as housing affordability and availability, permit processing timelines, greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled.
