RFQ out for $61M UW welcome center

SEATTLE — The University of Washington issued a request for qualifications today for a design-builder for a new 30,000- to 33,000-square-foot welcome center.

UW said in a notice that ran in today's DJC that it is seeking a qualified general contractor design-builder (which may include joint ventures) to design and construct the building, which has a project budget of $61.4 million and a target design-build contract budget of $45 million.
