Harrell signs legislation to speed up light rail expansion

Light rail is expected to reach Ballard in 2039, and West Seattle by 2032.

Mayor Bruce Harrell joined King County Executive Shannon Braddock and transportation leaders yesterday to sign legislation into law designed to speed up the delivery of light rail to West Seattle and Ballard.
