Gas Works Park proposal would cut some Cracking Towers' appendages

The preserved gasification towers built in the 1930s and 1940s are a signature element of Gas Work Park’s presence at the edge of Lake Union.

The Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board is considering a proposal to remove some exterior portions of Gas Works Park's signature gasification towers.
