Design for Kubota Garden visitor center comes into view

The visitor center is projected to include outdoor courtyards and decks for informal gatherings.

A clearer vision is emerging for a visitor's center at Rainier Beach's 20-acre Kubota Garden, a project suggested in the park's 1990 master plan and affirmed by its most recent 2019 master plan.
