Marina Steps fills in ‘missing link' in Des Moines

A series of stairs and accessible ramps will navigate the 36-foot elevation change from Overlook I Park to the marina.

Last month, the city of Des Moines broke ground on its Marina Steps project, aimed at creating a pedestrian friendly connection and public view corridor between the downtown core and the city's waterfront.
