San Diego airport project honored for steel design

Seattle’s Magnusson Klemencic Associates was the structural engineer for this new terminal at San Diego International Airport.

The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) has honored the San Diego International Airport Terminal 1 project with a 2026 IDEAS Award for its “innovative steel design.”
